GOD, THE ORIGINAL INFLUENCER

“For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” — Proverbs 2:6

In a world overflowing with opinions, information, and an ever-growing field of “professional influencers”, Proverbs 2:6 reminds us where true wisdom originates—not from social media or clever taglines, but from the very mouth of God. When we open the Bible, we aren’t just reading an ancient text; we are receiving knowledge directly from the Creator. His Word reveals not only what is true, but how to live wisely, walk humbly, and love righteously while equipping us for the many decisions in life.
 
The benefit of studying the Bible is twofold: it transforms the mind and anchors the heart, while meditating on His Word conforms us so we begin to view the world through our Redeemer's eyes. Doing both causes us to gain discernment in our relationships, clarity in our pursuits, and peace in our trials. These blessings are not automatic. Proverbs 2 urges us to seek it like silver, and to search for it as hidden treasure. Consider your time in scripture as an investment in eternal wisdom, and the return on that investment is priceless.
